      Top 10 Fall Favorites!

Though fall is starting to come to an end here in Michigan, I know in other states it is just beginning! I figured now would be a perfect time to make a quick post on my top 10 fall favorites I've been loving this year! :)

1.Red hand bags

If you're like me and fall is your absolute favorite time of year, finding the perfect hand bag for the season can be difficult. I was fortunate enough to pick up this gem from Kate Spade! I personally LOVE the color Red!If you wear a lot of neutrals (Black, Grey, White, Nude, Navy, Ect.)this is the perfect colored bag to add a little pop to your wardrobe while still staying in the fall color spectrum! The good thing about finding the perfect red hand bag is christmas is just right around the corner and you can always wear it through the Holidays/winter!
Here are some of my favorite red hand bags I have come a crossed recently, some high end, and some that won't break the bank!:)

$100 and up:

$100 or less:
2.Aldo

2.Cable knit sweaters

What would fall be with out cozy sweaters to keep you warm? I probably wear cable knits 3 times a week, if not more. I'm currently obsessed with Ralph Laurens to be exact. They're very basic, classy, and you can wear them with just about anything! The only downside is the price, but if you're looking for sweaters to invest in that you can count on to keep you warm for many years to come, Ralph Lauren is the brand for you! They are extremely great quality and come in just about any color imaginable. :) If you're not looking to spend that much on sweaters, you can find cable knits just about anywhere! I'll list some of my favorites below!

$100 and up:

$50-$80:
2.B.P

$50 and under:

3.Metallic footwear

I've noticed a new trend lately of metallic shoes being worn! I myself am a huge fan, and slowly building up my collection as the trend grows. I love to wear slip ons or flats in the fall. They are perfect for running errands or when you're running late to work and need to look dressy but down have time to find your other shoes. The three pairs I have shown are listed from left to right below, (Kenneth Cole,Tory Burch,Steve Madden)
Here are some of my favorite metallic picks from this year:

3.Puma

4.Yankee Candles

Lets be honest, I think we all love fall scented candles! I particularly am obsessed with Yankee! Don't get me wrong, my heart still goes out to Bath & Body Works, but I've noticed Yankee Candles burn a lot better lately. On top of that, you get more for your money!I've also come to find they have a more vast variety compared to what Bath & Body Works has.

Heres my top 5 fall favorites:
5.Pumpkin Ginger Bark (retired scent)

5.Blanket scarfs

Well, Its that time of year when its starting to get chilly enough to wear scarfs again! I absolutely adore blanket scarfs, I just recently got into them and I can't get enough! I myself am a tiny person height and weight wise, so they tend to take up my entire torso when I wear them. I thought it would look odd, but I've actually found ways to wear them so it doesn't look like its swallowing me. The good thing about these types of scarfs is it can actually live up to its name of being a "Blanket scarf" If you're at a campfire, drive in, or even just relaxing at home and you're too lazy to get up and get a blanket or you don't have one at the moment, you can literally use the scarf as a blanket! Its a wonderful thing. Plus they aren't pricey at all! I got this one from Target for $7!

Heres some of my favorites:
4.DSW

6.Puffer Vests

If you haven't ventured into puffer vests, you need to! These are great to go over sweaters, flannels, or long sleeves. I am currently in LOVE with these vests from J.Crew. They are a staple for me this year, and I really want them in every color possible. If you want to get some good vests and are willing to pay over $100, these are perfect! However, if you the type of person who doesn't like to break the bank for a vest, I have some places that have similar options for you!

3.Etsy

7.Arm candy

Not every girl likes to accessorize, however even if you don't like to wear a bunch of arm candy a simple watch or bracelet can help complete your look.
From left to right are my current favorites

2.Sashkaco (Get 25% off with code "Lexie25")

8.Shep shirts

If you've never heard of a Shep shirt, then you probably aren't  familiar with the brand "Vineyard Vines". Vineyard vines is a very basic yet classy brand. Shep shirts range from $99-$125+ But I promise you they are 100% worth it! They are extremely great quality and will last you years, unlike purchasing a pull over from a cheaper retailer that will start to fall apart after a few washes in the washing machine. They come in men, woman, and kids sizes!
You can sometimes search the web and find them on sale for less. But if you're looking to purchase one now you can purchase one Here.
Though spending that much on a simple pullover can seem ridiculous at times, I have listed below some similar quality ones to not break the bank!

9.Fall scented beauty products

I think every woman loves bath and body works, weather is be the candles, lotions, soaps, or body sprays. There is something there for everyone! I myself like to bulk up every year on my favorite scents so the following year I don't have to go out an buy more, or incase the discontinue that scent I will have it. My favorite scent the last couple years has been Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Though not everyone is in love with the smell of pumpkins, they have plenty of other fall scents to choose from!

10.Hunter boots

If you haven't already hopped on the Hunter boot band wagon, well I'm going to tell you how I feel about them! First things first, they are a rain boot. Now if you live somewhere where it rains a lot, or if you like to hike is wet places, these would be perfect for you. Most people think these are just a basic rain boot. And that statement isn't completely false. Though they may look basic, they they still in my opinion are a lot higher quality of a boot. You truly get what you pay for! They even sell boot socks, specifically designed for these boots so you can wear them in the winter. Coming from a state that has snow 6 months out of the year that is terrific! They have great traction, and can be quite trendy. You can get these in just about every color! You're probably thinking, well why red? I choose red for the same reason I choose a red hand bag for fall! I wear a lot of neutrals, and red can be brought in through the holiday season/winter so why not red! I could live in these things honestly, I want a white pair, black pair, pink pair and grey pair! You're probably concerned about the price, as I was too! However I'm going to give you a a couple tips on getting them cheaper!

1. If you wear a size 7 in woman's or less and have normal/smaller calfs, you can fit in the kids boots! Instead of paying $150-$200 you only have to pay $70-$80 or less depending if you get them on sale or not. I can't wear the regular sized woman's boots because of the height, they hit at my knee and are awkward to bend in. The kids size 5 fits me perfect with a little extra wiggle room!

2. Check amazon! I cannot stress this enough, they always have them at cheaper prices from different retailers and you can save a lot of money this way!

3. Google "Hunter boots on sale", they often have sales at different retailers and if you click the "Shopping" tab on google it will show you pictures will all the different boots that are on sale.

4. Ebay & Poshmark! If you don't mind getting them pre-owned you can find AMAZING deals on eBay and poshmark that will save you even more money then the other options I have listed. This is truly the cheapest way to go. Usually they are in great condition too!

I hope some of my tips helped you out, and I hope you too enjoy some of my top 10 fall favorites! :)
